Welcome to LAHorndog’s Place. I have been on this earth for over 58 years and in that time I have had a lot happen to me and I have been to a lot of places around the world. I plan to give you some on advice on different things and if you have any questions about anything send me an email and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
LAHorndog’s Advice on Life and Love is basically my advice based on my life and what has happen to it and what I have learned. This page I will constantly be adding my thoughts and advice that I have learned from all I have been through.

How I Got My Nick
I have been using the nick LAHorndog off and on since 1997. Here is how I came up with my nick and I know you are going to think otherwise and you may be right but I will never tell.
How I got my nick is a very interesting story! Well some may ask what does a horndog mean. I played the trumpet for 12 years from 4th grade until my 3rd year in college. I was a music major for my first 2 years and then change to graduate in my 3rd year. I was also the music senator for the college senate for 2 semesters and I did not enjoy it much since the Greeks or Fraternity and Sorority wanted to run the senate and school.
In the 11th grade in high school, I tried out for the USC Marching Band to play in the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl in 1970! They were to play against Michigan and they had a very large band. USC went to the local colleges to get players and when they did not get enough from there they went to the local high schools. I was picked as an alternate, one day one player who was always late was told he was an alternate and I was to take his place. To this day, the marching in the Rose Parade and the playing in the Rose Bowl are the highlights of me playing the trumpet and something I will always be proud of!
So I picked this nick because I played the trumpet which is a horn and the dog to make it sound cute and LA where I was located. So when I got on the web and then the IRC I needed to find a nick for myself so I picked LAHorndog to describe where I lived, Los Angeles and because I played the trumpet, not for the other reasons you think but nice try though!
